Krista grew up in Ottawa, where she developed a keen interest in athletic therapy while watching football games. Her attention often gravitated towards the sidelines whenever players got injured. This fascination prompted her to pursue a career in Athletic Therapy, eventually leading her to relocate to Philadelphia to work in the sports industry full-time.

Upon returning to Canada, Krista began working with the Canadian Wheelchair Basketball Team and discovered the significant benefits of manual therapy, especially when paired with a structured exercise regimen.
